Carolyn Jacob

Photography is in the genes, it seems, and with the encouragement of my professional photographer grandfather, I began seeing the world through the lens of my first camera starting in 1950. Over the years I’ve been refining my “eye” through a wide variety of classes and seminars, learning new methods of expressing what I find appealing, sometimes in realism, and other times in fanciful abstraction. Several local and regional awards for my work have been very much appreciated and exceptionally motivating. I most recently received the “Best in Show” award for “Red Maple Trio” in the prestigious Northeast Ohio Photography Show.
